Founder’s Day Celebration

Tomorrow we celebrate the birth anniversary of our founder, Mr Frank Anthony. As a small tribute to the achievements of this great statesman, we will have a special assembly at school tomorrow, at 8:30 a.m.

Reading through the biographical data on Mr Frank Anthony, which I sourced from wikipedia, I was amazed at the list of his achievements. And from the information gathered, I am quite certain that few people would be able to match his contribution to our country in the period soon after independence, to the field of education and to the Anglo-Indian community.

Though I never had the opportunity to meet Mr Frank Anthony, I wish to record my gratitude for all the provisions he made for us to be of service to the student community.

we can sometimes forget the huge contribution to education and particularly English as a medium of instruction made by our founder Mr. Frank Anthony , for which all of us FAPITES should be immensely proud of. I was extremely fortunate to have had a meeting / interview with the great man himself, and boy was I overawed by his strong personality though well on in years then in 1986. Today, we salute this great personality on his 104th birth anniversary.
